If your system categorizes the game as from an unidentified developer when booting the virtual environment for the first time, don’t be alarmed and proceed to open the application. If your security preferences still do not allow you to open it, please reconfigure your settings to allow unidentified applications such as GeoExplorer to open.
For Mac users, make sure your GeoExplorer application is saved in the Documents folder.
